This review focuses on the second of two sister cask Ledaig expressions and this was distilled in 1993, matured in a bourbon hogshead for 26 years before being bottled at a cask strength abv of 45% in 2019.

Nose: Smoky and powerful, with delicate fruits and grassy aromas alongside rich vanilla and oak.   Palate: Oaky and mellow, with soft green fruits, mango and banana.   Finish: Peat smoke, dark chocolate, coconut & wood spice.
