The Single Cask Ledaig 2008 10 Years Old (58.5% abv)
Nose: Sea salt, clean peat, malt and oak, followed by slight rubbery hints, cinnamon, nutmeg and oak. Palate: Robust and spicy on the palate, with clean peat, sea salt, oysters, slight rubbery hints and oak followed by cinnamon, nutmeg and sweet malt. Finish: Long, lingering, briny, spicy and peaty in equal measure. An honestly good Ledaig which displays all the characteristics which make it a firm favourite!
