This review focuses on the last of a series of four bottlings from 2016 and it showcases a Miltonduff which was distilled in 1995, matured in a bourbon hogshead for 21 years before being bottled at 45.8% abv.

The Single Cask Miltonduff 1995 21 Years Old (45.8% abv)


Nose:  An inviting dram packed with caramelised fruit, honey and a touch of toasted bread.   Palate: Peppery oak spice, a hint of dark chocolate and juicy orchard fruits.   Finish: Sugar-dusted pancakes with a squeeze of lemon.
