This review focuses on the second of two expressions of Ben Nevis and this was distilled in 2014, matured initially in a bourbon cask before being transferred to a PX octave for an additional period of maturation then being bottled at a cask strength abv of 61.3% in 2019.

The Single Cask Ben Nevis 2014 5 Years Old PX Finish (61.3% abv)
Nose: Nutmeg, orange, honey, cherries and lime, followed by oak and black pepper. Palate: Orange, nutmeg, cherries and oak, followed by honey, black pepper, lime and malt. Finish: Medium finish with cherries, orange, honey, nutmeg, oak and black pepper.
