Review #50: The Single Cask Tobermory 1994 23 Years Old

This review focuses on a rather complex Tobermory and this expression was distilled in 1994, matured in a sherry hogshead for 23 years before being bottled at a cask strength abv of 56.8% in 2018.

So, let's dive right into the review!

The Single Cask Tobermory 1994 23 Years Old (56.8% abv)

Nose: Vanilla essence, coffee, Turkish Delight and fresh honeydew melon.   Palate: Slightly coastal, but dominated by notes of chocolate raisin and brown sugar.   Finish: Oat biscuits, honey, sultana and oak spiciness.

This expression is available in extremely limited quantities by the dram or as a part of a flight at The Single Cask.
