So, let's dive right into this review!
The Single Cask Tomintoul 1995 22 Years Old (53.2% abv)
Nose: A whiff of tobacco and also rather sweet. Faint herbals (sage and thyme in particular) and some notes of lemon cheesecake, guava and honey. Palate: Slight sweetness and a certain citrusy note. Clean and pleasant, with the herbs transferring onto the palate. Sponge cake and butter. Finish: Quite drying and with lingering oaky notes, along with brown sugar and black pepper.
