So, let's dive right into the review!

The Single Cask Glentauchers 1997 20 Years Old (Bottled at 49.9% abv)

Colour: Bright gold

Nose: Fresh, clean, floral and fruity. Cinnamon and nutmeg definitely in the mix. Wet slate, white pepper, sage, thyme and ferns. Hints of lime lurking in the background.

Palate: More of the fresh, clean, floral and fruity elements present, alongside white pepper, wood spice, herbal hints, lime and oak.

Finish: Long, sweet, spicy and citrusy on the finish. Very drinkable.

Balance: A very well-balanced and immensely drinkable expression which showcases the fruity and clean side of Glentauchers while retaining some of the familiar malty and herbal hints. The mouthfeel is generally oily with a touch of dryness.

This expression is available for purchase by the dram or as a part of a flight for in-bar consumption, as well as by the bottle for either in-bar or retail/takeaway purposes.
