The Single Cask is proud to present four new additions to our core range of expressions, all of which will be available for purchase by the bottle and the dram in the very near future!
Featuring four expressions from different distilleries such as Glen Keith, Glentauchers, Invergordon and Miltonduff, this is definitely something which is meant to be savoured. All the releases were bottled at a standard abv of 45.8% (or 80 proof) for The Single Cask.
First up is the Glentauchers, which is a Speysider which was distilled in 2002 and bottled this year at 14 years of age from a single cask (#15827) with an outturn of 202 bottles.
Another Speysider then follows in the Glen Keith, which was distilled in 1995 and bottled at 20 years of age earlier this year from a single cask (#171225) with an outturn of 169 bottles.
A third Speysider is the Miltonduff, which was also distilled in 1995 and bottled at 21 years of age this year from a single cask (#2594) with an outturn of 248 bottles.
The final expression of the lot is rather unusual as it is the first ever single grain whisky which has been bottled under The Single Cask brand, which makes it a rather special bottling.
The Invergordon was distilled in 1988 and matured for almost 28 years old before bring bottled earlier this year from a single cask (#8118) with an outturn of 279 bottles. It is a Highland grain distillery which makes it rather unusual as most of the grain distilleries are traditionally located in the Lowland region of Scotland.
These releases will also be included in a future whisky flight, so please drop by the bar to enquire about these bottlings and we will be more than happy to assist you.
See you at the bar!
