Review #11: The Single Cask Arran 1996 19 Years Old

This review focuses on a rather interesting expression of Arran which was distilled in 1996, matured in a sherry hogshead for 19 years before being bottled at 45.8% abv in 2016.

So, let's dive right into the review!

The Single Cask Arran 1996 19 Years Old (45.8% abv)

Nose: Grilled pineapple, farmhouse butter and dried apricot.

Palate: Grassy and herbal at first, before waves of bourbon-cask vanilla sweetness come to the fore.

Finish: Stem ginger an a subtly bitter hint of orange peel.

This expression is sold out worldwide.
