This review focuses on a delicious expression of Linkwood and it was distilled in 2008, matured in a bourbon hogshead for 11 years before being bottled at a cask strength abv of 54.7% in 2019.

The Single Cask Linkwood 2008 11 Years Old (54.7% abv)
Nose: Sweet malt and a fruit basket consisting of green grapes, pear and kiwi alongside green tea and a hint of cinnamon.
Palate: Green grapes, pear and kiwi at the fore, followed by oak, cinnamon, green tea, walnuts and malt.
Finish: Long finish, with green grapes, kiwi, oak and cinnamon.
