This review focuses on a delicious expression of The English Whisky Co and it is also the third in a series of bottlings that have been done with casks obtained from St George's Distillery in Norfolk. This expression was distilled in 2011, matured for 7 years in a bourbon hogshead before being bottled at a cask strength abv of 64.2% in 2019.

The Single Cask English Whisky Co 2011 7 Years Old (64.2% abv)

Nose: Pine sap, peat, oak and white pepper alongside cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.
 
 
 
Palate: White pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and oak coupled with honey, vanilla and green ferns.
 
 
 
Finish: Vanilla, peat, green ferns and white pepper.
