This review focuses on a tasty expression from Inchgower and this was distilled in 2009, matured in a bourbon hogshead for 10 years before being bottled at a cask strength abv of 57.8% in 2019.

The Single Cask Inchgower 2009 10 Years Old (57.8% abv)


Nose: Oak, nutmeg and green tea, followed by green apple, figs and black pepper.   Palate: Oak followed by black pepper, green tea and nutmeg, with the figs and green apple making an appearance alongside some lime.   Finish: Long finish with green tea, green apple and oak and just a hint of fig.
