This review focuses on an excellent Blair Athol which was distilled in 2008, matured in a bourbon hogshead for 11 years before being bottled at a cask strength abv of 55.5% in 2019.

Nose: Sweet malt followed by orange, pear and lime hints alongside some oak.   Palate: Orange, pear and lime alongside malt, nutmeg, black pepper, fruit pastilles and oak.   Finish: Long finish with orange, lime and nutmeg.
