This review focuses on a delicious expression from the closed Port Dundas distillery and this grain whisky was distilled in 2009, matured in a bourbon hogshead for 9 years before being bottled at a natural cask strength abv of 65.2% in 2019.

The Single Cask Port Dundas 2009 9 Years Old (65.2% abv)


Nose: Subtle aromas at cask strength but the floral complexities come through with water.   Palate: Very lively palate; floral esters and light spices. Very drying, with hints of coconut and apples.   Finish: Long finish with malty and nutty notes.
